Error Message while Trying to Install Fix It: Unable to Download Troubleshooters, Check Internet Connection

  Ok, I have read these long and difficult responses -- please give me the steps so I can download this needed application.  I have a Dell Inspiron 1100 Laptop with Windows XP SP 3 and trying to install Fix It I get this error message:

  Unable to Download Troubleshooters, Check Internet Connection

  What simple fix can I try without damaging my Windows XP operating system -- I have spent 3 days with a Tier 2 Tech trying to restore registry errors.  Everything is back on track and he suggested that I use this program to fix a slow-windows program and to get rid of all the other "System Care" applications that I was using which made my problems worse.  Please help.
