Hello,
Thank you for visiting the Genuine Advantage forum. I see that your version of Windows Vista is a KMS Client. As you may know, KMS Client versions of Windows Vista are used by Large Companies, Universities, or Government Agencies to easily manage large numbers of Windows Vista installs within their organization.
KMS Clients activate by connecting to a KMS Server (i.e. KMS Clients do not connect to Microsoft to activate). I suggest contacting your organization’s Network Administrator or IT Department for assistance in connecting your KMS Client to their KMS Server.
Thank you for visiting the Genuine Advantage forum.

thanks, i will talk to my university.you sound like someone who really knows something. I talked to customer service people who were basically like idixxs that could not help out with anything while giving me attitudes. I wish they could be more knowledgeable so that they can help people without product keys...this is much better.Saturday, December 27, 2008 5:21 AM
