Validation issues preventing update now

Question
-
I upgraded my PC to Windows 7 a while ago (not sure but longer than 3 months) and I am now getting the validation message whenever I try to update. I click on the link and it says my version is validated. Below is the results of the diagnostics tool. Please help.

Try using system restore to recover to a point prior to when you first got the error message.

Windows Product ID: 00359-231-5405842-8691
The product ID -231- Indicates a not for resale MSDN account. If you are not the account holder and you purchased this in a retail box, the box and it's contents are counterfeit. Demand an immediate refund from the seller

To see how good these counterfeits are becoming, see:

You will have to purchase a legitimate windows from a legitimate retailer.

I am an msdn holder and this is where i got the download and product key. would there be any reason this key isn't valis anymore?

Unusual to see an actual MSDN subscriber here. Most are counterfeit purchases.
I personally don't see an obvious problem with your report. Hopefully a more experienced person can give you the answer.

You should contact your MSDN Concierge - they will be able to assist with your problem.

I see nothing out of the ordinary in your Diagnostic Report and in addition, I have also check that MSDN Product Key and it shows as Valid and Genuine.
Are you getting any messages that your Windows is non-Genuine or are you just being asked to Validate when installing an Update?
Thank you,
