Proejct Server 2010 Task Calendar Display RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is there a way to add the project name to the task listing as it appears in the task calendar display?  This display is reached be the team member viewing their tasks and then using the View Calandar icon in the top right corner.  It would be helpful to have the project name displayed in the calendar entry or if not there in the detail that is opened when you double click the task.

Any ideas on how to add this info?

    Thanks!

  • I don't think it's possible within PWA for the calendar.  You might want to look into another reporting option like SSRS though.

When you click on the task, it does show the My Work: Details view.  There's nothing immediately obvious in there that shows the Project, but you could add a custom field at the tesk level, have it roll down to the assignment level, and then add the project name there.  It's a bit annoying, but possibly doable.

  • Hello all, I know this is an old thread, but I am looking for a solution to an issue.  I would like to populate outlook calenders with tasks from project plans in PWA 2010.  Is there a way to do this?
