CRM 2011 - Profiling Plugin for SetState RRS feed

  • I  have a plugin that is registered on Phone Call Activity. When the Phone call is closed by clicking the Mark Completed button the plugin is fired.

    When I create a profile using plugin registeration tool and step through the code the profile is showing the open state and status.

    Although creating the profile does not actually commit the transaction, shouldn't the profile show the close phone call state and status?

    Your help/comment is greatly appreciated.

  • It doesn't seem to matter if the plugin is registered pre or post transaction, nothing is committed until all processing is complete.  Therefore your state change does not physically take place until after your plugin is run.  If you need to do a comparison you may want to use a pre or post image.

  • Thanks for your response. Just to clarify, I was talking about the Profiler and not the actual plugin. I got what I needed to work anyway. Thanks again for your time.
