    Is there a way to turn off Windows Live Mail without uninstalling? Have Windows 7, 64 bit, Google chrome. Am set up with Comcast but desire to keep live Mail for now but be inactive.

    Hello,

    Windows Live Mail is now supported in the Windows Live Mail section of Microsoft's Community forums.

    As the Microsoft Community is on a different platform, we cannot move the question for you.

    Once there, click on Participate near the top of the screen, and select 'Ask a Question' or 'Start a Discussion'

    I suspect you are asking something more.  WLM does not auto launch so if you do not want it to launch dont click on it.

    Care to be more specific?
