CRM 2015 online : Microsoft Exchange online : Shared Mailbox issue RRS feed

  • Hi Guys,

    I had problem sending/receiving emails in queue from shared mailbox connected with Microsoft online exchange via server side sync.

    Mailbox is approved by 0365 Administrator and email is approved. but when applied Test and enable rule it shows failure with the error "Make sure credentials specified in the mail box are correct and have sufficient permission for receiving email"

    Having that a shared mailbox it shouldn't ask for the permission.

    We had contacted Microsoft and they replied this is bug within current exchange update but unable to find any supporting evidence online.

    I would like to know from your current implementation if anyone has share mailbox working in CRM 2015 (Rollup 1) online version.

    Please specify your Microsoft online exchange version if working.

    Any further help troubleshooting this issue would be really helpful.

  • Try giving at specific user full access to the shared mailbox and then use this user's credentials
