  • Question

  • Hi all

2 users with the same security roles:

while one of them can login into crm

the other one is facing the following error message:

    Insufficient Permissions

the logged-on user does not have the appropriate security permissions to view these records or perform the the specific action.

    any suggestions ??

  • Check whether two users are in the same BU or not?

if yes, then check if any custom plugin stuffs or anything has been written to do for that user specifically?

if not then try to disable the user and enable once again.

else try to assign any other role(higher) and see if it is working in the current role.if yes then assign the required role and see, if it will wrok.

  • Are both users in the same business unit?

Anyway, for the one that is getting the error I would try removing all roles from the user, saving the record, then adding the role(s) back.

  • The user that is facing the error:

    Insufficient Permissions......

is logged into the application.  That user is attempting to take some action in CRM that is restricted based on the Security Role.  It is not a login issue.

  • Dear Sudhansu,

    your solution is working :)

but would you please tell me why the CRM is behaving this way ??, i.e is this a normal behavior for the CRM....something like activation for first use...or is there something missing in my new security role ??

I know that this was from a very long time but the problem is keeping repeating itself every time i try to add new users

    thanks in advance...
