Good morning folks,
My boss has asked me to upload some contacts into CRM. So far, I have been using SQL and Excel to clean my data and then the Import Tools of CRM to import the data. It has been working great. However, I was given a set of data lately that had a bunch of
duplicates. For example, Joe Shmoe had jschmoe@gmail.com and jschmoe@hotmail.com. Everything else from that contact was the same.
I went back to my boss and asked which email I should choose. She said to leave it and create two contacts, because Joe Shmoe could belong to 2 different marketing lists. In one list he would receive a certain type of emails, and in the other list (say his
work email) he would want to receive emails related to his job. So, here is my question:
Is there a way to select which email address you are sending an email to in marketing lists? Bear in mind that Joe Shmoe would want it one way, but Bob Smith may want the inverse of the scenario above. In other words, there would need to be a way to select
the emails on an individual basis.
Sincerely,
Anooka
