Backup Fails after Deleting a Partition

Question
-
One of my home computers was partitioned:
C:OS (XP Home)
E:iTunes (mine)
F:iTunes (wife's)
It has been successfully backed up several times to WHS.
Since obtaining a new computer for myself and moving my iTunes to it, I deleted the E: partition from that hard drive. I assumed that WHS would just back up the existing C: and F: partitions on that drive. When I tried to back it up this evening it got about 1/2 way through then stopped, with an error message about a partition not being found (E: which was deleted). How do I get around this in order to make a backup of that drive?

Reconfigure backups for that computer.
I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)- Proposed as answer by kariya21Moderator Tuesday, January 12, 2010 12:30 AM

You need run "Configure Backup" in the Console, remove the missing partition (E:) from being backup. You probably need select "Save them on the server" option in Confirm Configuration of Backup page to keep your old data.
Then you would get your backup work again and could still restore your old data. Hope it helps.
Side question: Have you excluded any folder on E: from backup before?- Proposed as answer by kariya21Moderator Tuesday, January 12, 2010 12:30 AM
