    I have drawing some polygons off a Bing map aerial. when I finish the polygon it will show the total area by square feet. is there some way I can get to show the area in acres.

    It seems that your issue is mainly regarding to bing map api, I would recommend you post it in https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/home?category=bingmaps forum to get support.
