Wordpress Theme Skewed in Windows Live Writer

    Question

  • I am using Build 14.0.8064.206 en on Windows Vista Home Premium SP1.

My problem is that when I try to edit my WordPress blog in WLW using the WP template the text and inserted images are skewed a fair distance to the right.  I have read other posts similar to this and have found that I need to edit the HTML.  By this I am assuming this means the CSS.  I am not yet an expert on CSS but I am trying to learn.

I snagged a demo image from the WLW screen and have posted it along with the CSS code to a page on my web site.

If someone could take a look and point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.  Thanks.

  • You will need to edit the template that WLW generates, not the HTML/CSS on your blog.

If you don't want to do that, then you can do View | Edit Using Themes (uncheck this) and it will use a plain theme for editing your posts.
