How do I turn off the Invoice capability

Question

Hi,
My company will not use the Invoicing feature in CRM. Is there a way to turn off the Invoicing entity so that it cannot be used by accident?
Thanks, Mark

Hi Psychopasta
The easiest way to remove/hide "Invoice" from CRM is simply to remove the create/read/write privileges to the invoice entity in the users Role/s. ( on the sales tab)
This will in turn remove the navigaton items.

Alternatively, you can remove all privileges to the invoice entity to all users. Then the entity will disappear since users do not have the privilege to see it. Only the System Administrator will be able to see it.

Hi Mark,
You can use the Pragma Toolkit Application to remove the Invoice Entity from the Sitemap. Here is the link:

Also, as some other colleagues said, you can also remove the privileges from all user roles to the entity.

Frank
