    When I try to install my  Connector Software it gets so far into the install and I get this

     

    "Error 25015.Failed to install assembly

    'C:/Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Microsoft.VisualBasic.Vsa.dll'becuse of system error:

    0x80131107

     

     I have sussfully installed this on two of my laptops and everythiung is good but this darn Destop will not even get past thur the install of the connector software

    You don't happen to have Office 2003 on that particular Client?

    This appears to be a .NET error, and there are a few options torepair it.

    This M/s KB article refers if you have Office 2003.

    If not,you could try:

    Follow the steps below to rename the .NET 2.0 folder.

    1. Right-click the Start button and then choose Explore
    2. Browse to C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework.
    3. Right-click the v2.0.50727 folder, and the select Rename.

    Also, there is this MSDN thread, which also relates to a .NET cleanup tool.

  • DUDE YOU ARE THE MAN!!!!!!!!!! I just follwed your REMANE advise after investgating OFFICE 2003 info and you have saved my day! not to mention i can now show the wife what 3 days and nights of stress was all about
