  • Steve solved this problem by answering the same concern for someone else I discovered after posting the message.  This forum worked for me and believe me I have very little skill on a computer or finding my way around !

    Thanks !!

  • I can't find the "20 digit" product ID number that the help portion is asking for. There is a 25 digit "product key", but it is seperated into 5 parts (not the 4 parts that the help support allows you to fill in). I need help.

  • The key that you are being asked to provide when trying to reach support isn't your product key. It is a useless key that is found in help/About in OneCare. When it prompts for that, it can't validate your subscription. So, select the option that you are a trial user and the problem exists on another PC - you can then open an email support request, Wes.

Unofficial path - send me an email at sboots@mvps.org with a subject line including "OneCare" (to get past my spam filtering) and in the message body, tell me what country you are in, your forum nickname, and paste this link:

I am not online 24x7, so you may be waiting for a reply, but I'll do my best to hook you up with support.
