  • Question

  • Hello,

My wife and I have internet service  through Qwest Communications.  When we got it, part of the agreement was that we would have One Care as a part of our subscription.  I activated the account when we first started, then had some issues which required me to Restore my PC.  Now I cannot seem to reactivate my One Care account.  What do I need to do?

Reinstall or add a computer from http://onecare.live.com - member accounts - add a computer. Activate with your LiveID for your subscription.

Use your Qwest ID to activate - assuming that your subscription is still current. Note that OneCare is at end of life and once your current subscription expires, you will not be able to renew.

    See this post: http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/onecareinstallandactivate/thread/0000c782-ed1b-4ed3-8afb-87989bb9638c

If you encounter problems with activation, contact Qwest support to determine if you are using the correct LiveID and if your subscription is still current.

  • I note that on the Qwest - Windows Live Member Center page for Qwest High-Speed Internet, they now display Norton AntiVirus in the Downloads section near the bottom rather than OneCare, so support may have changed.

It would be best to contact Qwest Support rather than asking here, since that's the official support channel for your Qwest Internet access.
