RDP and Console does not work after today's security update. RRS feed

  • I have updated my WHS today and RDP and WHS COnsole no longer works. In fact my only method of access at the moment is LogMeIn!

     

    Has anyone else had similar issues?

  • You could try a brute force fix of uninstalling all the new patches and then using the "custom" choice on windows update to add them back in one at a time.

  • Updated and restarted my server, no problems on my end. Did you reboot the server? Might try that again even if you did it before.

  • Likewise, no problems here. A reboot would be a good idea.
    I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)

  • Mine is okay too.  Must be coincidence - reboot was mandatory for these updates.  If you have done perhaps it's worth scanning your system drive with chkdsk /r
