Synchronization - Local data groups for Activities RRS feed

  • Issue related to Microsoft CRM for Outlook 4.0

     

    After successfully migrating thousands of data (Tasks, Phone calls, Letter, Appointments, etc...) from my customer's old system (ACT) to Microsoft CRM 4.0, I am having the following issue.
    Some of the users have thousands of activities, and unfortunately all these activities get synchronized with Outlook during the first launch of the synchronization.

     

    Is there a way to configure the synchronization so that only newly created activities get synchronized (Some kind of Local Data Groups that will let us only synchronized Activities where CreatedOn > 01/01/2008).
    I know this exist for the contacts but I need the same for the Activities (Tasks, Phone calls, Letters, Appointments, etc...).

     

    Is there a way to code this using the SDK.

     

    All kind of help is welcome.

  • Unfortunately I don't think this is possible. As far as I know the synchronisation rules for CRM activities are hard-coded
