The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We have developed a plugin that calls a service which in turn calls a Stored procedure. But due to some reason the plugin fails on the service call giving the below error on our production environment:-

The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel

We have a valid certificate in our prod environment and i feel the error is due to some other reason. Am not sure about the exact cause of this error. Any help would be great. This works fine in our dev environment. Need some help urgently as its a production issue.

    Thanks in advance,

    Prasad.

  • Hi Prasad,

It seems that your plugin is run triggered successfully but the CRM server is aborting the operation (Possible error: ISV aborted the operation) due to the time difference. Can you verify the time difference between the Active Directory Domain Server and the CRM Server. If there is the time difference between the server (usually difference of more than 5 minutes), it may result into errors as mentioned by you even if the certificates are fine. You can verify that if any of the servers have the setting of time being synched with the Internet time, since it may result in creating the difference in the time between the server.

Let me know if this resolves your issue.

    Thanks,
