    My PC cannot a) run windows backup, b) add MS malicious software update, c) run windows home server connector.

    I seem to have some issues around windows update, MS Windows Home Server Connector, and Windows backup.

    I've run Spybot, McAfee and Malwarebytes Antimalware software with no findings.  WTF????  Can anyone help???

    From what you describe I would say your PC is not at all healthy.
    This forum is for Windows Home Server only. So you will not find much help on this here.

    That said, I would suggest you to consider a restore/reinstall of the operating system.
