MCDST, now how do I find a job with it? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all! :D

Under the advise of some friends, I attained a MCDST certification. I got the books, went to a pro metric testing center ect.. now I am looking for a job and I can't seem to find anything that says "we want a MCDST!". Is there some place where all the cool kids hide out and find these jobs?

Any Advice would be Nice :D

    Thanks,
    CM

    P.S.
I have been putting together my own computers since I was 13. I was able to manually root out just about any virus in DOS prompt because I know what the file structure "should" look like, so the irregularities stick out around 15. I'm currently 26 and I know XP, Vista, 7 inside out and am even ok with some of the server packages. The only IT experience I have out side my cert is providing tech support and setting up computers for a small family business.

My previous line of work was pre-visualization 3D concept work for interior decorators and landscapers and selling WoW gold / EQ plats.

My overall "goal" is to be able to support my self while working on my 4yr degree.

  • hi carmichel,

first of all you have to create a resume then in that resume you have to clearly mention your certification Paper Name and Number and Use the Logo of MCDST. Then upload your resume in best resume databases like (example for in  India)

    http://www.naukri.com/

Remember, some companies they mention in the job requirement, only the MCDST candidate can apply, there you can get the benefits of doing certification. and Certification on any subject gives
    weight-age in interview.

    Thank You
