Answers

  • If your subscription to OneCare shows expired in OneCare

    • Check your PC date and time.
    • Check your subscription status by logging in with your subscription LiveID at http://billing.microsoft.com
    • Confirm that this is the same LiveID shown to be the Subscription ID in OneCare - Help/About…
    • Open OneCare and click "Check for Updates" to have OneCare check for updated credentials

If your subscription is correctly shown at the Billing site, but incorrect in OneCare and your PC date and time are correct, please contact support.

  • My issue with windows live is similar, it says it cannot update because my subscription has expired; however it will not expire until Feb, 2009.

  • I am having the same problem. My sbbscription runs till 02/20/2009 yet OneCare tells me my computer is at risk because my subscription has expired.  Where do I go to get this corrected?

  • You'll be able to renew after 7/9/08. You can only have a subscription of 24 months or less. Since your current subscription expires this coming July, but has been renewed through the following July, you can't renew again until the subscription is 12 months or less.
