LimeWire says it's been blocked by a firewall or a router RRS feed

  • I've been trying to figure this out for quite sometimes now n it's been driving me crazy!! My LimeWire keeps saying a firewall keeps blocking it to connect? i've already alowed it and everything but still IT'S THE SAME. Can ANYONE help me?

  • I assume you are using Windows Live OneCare. Try turning off the OneCare firewall temporarily to see if this resolves the problem. If so, you may need to contact Limewire support to determine if additional ports and/or protocols need to be allowed besides allowing the program itself.
