No change, unfortunately. The problem is that your Operating System is unable to properly read the SLIC table in the BIOS – either because of minor corruption in the OS (possibly malware?), or a simple problem with the BIOS.Your PC is using the original OEM_SLP Product Key that came with the computer – this Key requires the proper values in the SLIC table to be able to self-activate.The normal solution is simply to change the Key to the one on the COA sticker, and activate that one over the internet, or over the phone.VERY occasionally the problem can be solved by updating the BIOS with suitable code – which you have to get from the manufacturer.A BIOS Update is simple to do (especially with HP machines, if I remember right) – but it’s one of the few things that can turn your machine into an expensive doorstop, so make sure that you follow the manufacturer’s instructions, and that you get the right update for your machine.Go to the HP website, and the downloads section for your make and model – look for the latest BIOS Update for it (If it says for Windows 7, pick an earlier one that doesn’t!) and download it. Follow the instructions on the site for installation. If you have problems deciding which one, let us know the EXACT make and model (and preferably the serial number) of your machine.Once installed, reboot again, and post a new MGADiag report

To properly analyse and solve problems with Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool (download and save to desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )Once saved, run the tool.Click on the Continue button, which will produce the report. To copy the report to your response, click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either r-click/Paste, or Ctrl+V ) into your response.- **in your own thread**, pleasePlease also state the Version and Edition of Windows quoted on your COA sticker (if you have one) on the case of your machine, but do NOT quote the Key on the sticker!

It appears that the installation has never been validated – doing so may actually help fix it.Please go to www.microsoft.com/gneuine/validate and see what happens – it will probably fail, but may pass.If it does fail, close Internet Explorer, and please then try the following:-(again, it it unlikely to work, but you have eliminated your best option when you say that your COA sticker is unreadable)Please try the below steps to recreate the Store with the correct data.
1) Open an Internet Browser window.
2) Type: %windir%\system32 into the browser address bar.
3) Find the file CMD.exe
4) Right-Click on CMD.exe and select 'Run as Administrator'
5) Type: net stop slsvc (it may ask you if you are sure, select yes)
6) Type: cd %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareLicensing
7) Type: rename tokens.dat tokens.bar
8) Type: cd %windir%\system32
9) Type: net start slsvc
10) Type: cscript slmgr.vbs -rilc (It may take a long time for this to complete, please be patient)
11) Restart your computer twice. You may be asked to enter your COA Key and/or Activate.Once complete, run another MGADiag report and post back with the results
