  • try to open by right click and clicking on explore.

if this works then u have virus in ur C and D drive.
i cant remember exact name but it is like MASKRIDER or VBRIDER.
    try searching thru Hijack..

  • U are sure of having Virus in drive.

Do the Updated antivirus scan then -:

    1. First enable 'show hidden files'

    2. explore ur drive

    3. delete autorun.inf

do this on all drive which is not opening.

in this virus he ll not able see autorun.inf and othervirus files.
this is made in VB. u can check in running process.
or u can see filesin drive if u have linux also in computer. thru mounting drives.

  • Yeah these virus are made in VB

and most of these VB virus used the autorun.inf to be executed (including maskrider and Fujack)

so that they can be autoplay if u double click the drives.

Thru antivirus these virus are deleted but autorun.inf remains there..

so ur drives remains in autoplay condition and since virus r not there so ur drive is not

    being able to open directly.

If virus r there and u delete autorun.inf then it wil again be created by the virus running in process.

and also one more thing most of this virus are hidden in recycled folder (which act like recycle bin)  in my computer.

So u can also manually delete the virus if u wish...
