retired exams RRS feed

  • hey i appeared for the exam no. 70-536 last year i.e  on 30th JUNE 2013, now its states that the exam has retired, moreover i appeared for one part of the exam and passed the same, but in order to get the certificate i need to appear and pass another exam from the same, but since its already retired what should i do now? will i be allowed to appear for the exam and then handed over the certificate or will i have to appear for another set of exams completely?

  • Hi,

    If you passed exam 70-536 you should have received a MCST (Microsoft Certification Technology Specialist) certificate for this exam. This exam is not part of any certification that requires you to pass multiple exams suchs as MCPD (will not be renewed/updated) and the newer MCSD certification.

    Have a look at your MCP profile to see if you have received MCTS
