HP Mediasmart Server can not be reached

  I have a HP Mediasmart server model 495. I experienced errors and did a repair. Now all indicators are blue, discs show healthy, but I can not connect to the server. I have tried using the console connect application and IP address directly. I have the Netgear Genie running and it "sees" the server, but it will not accept a ping. I welcome any suggestions.
