I'm not sure I understand what you are asking but CRM is available as a cloud service from Microsoft (CRM Online), a hosted service from Microsoft Partners or as an on-premises deployment on a company's own servers. You can also deploy CRM on-premises on Azure infrastructure.
I wouldn't call CRM middleware but then it depends on what you mean by middleware.
You could CRM a development platform because of its extensive customization capabilities but that is something else.

Thanks for your reply. I know that Dynamics CRM is available as SaaS (Software as a Service) and on premise versions. I would like to know if CRM is available as PaaS (Platform as a
vice). If it is available what rectangle box it will fall as per the PaaS model below. Please let me know your thoughts.

I'm sorry but I really don't understand your question. Perhaps someone else might have an answer for your.
CRM is an application so I don't see how it can be offered as PaaS because it isn't something that fits into the green boxes in your screenshot. It fits into the blue boxes.

Thanks again for the quick response. I also got doubt how CRM will be fit into PaaS model of the cloud and I posted this question. you are correct as per the screenshot, it will not fit into PaaS model and I would like to make sure this assumption is correct.Tuesday, March 15, 2016 2:00 PM
