CRM as trusted site RRS feed

  • Question

  • I ran the Outlook client diagnostics today and it warned me of popup blocker and that I should add CRM to the trusted sites.

This is no where near the first time.  Why doesn't it stay trusted?

Or, how could new popup blockers/settings be getting on ones machine when there are no new installations of any kind going on?

    thx

  • Assuming the Group Policy sets the trusted sites, you might need to force a Group Policy refresh (sorry, I'm not a Windows server admin).

  • Hi Mardukes, various Windows Updates containing Internet Explorer cumulative security updates have been known to meddle with IE settings such as trusted sites. Sometimes updates from internet security suites (such as McAfee, Norton, etc.) does the same thing.

  • Taking this one step further, on our system this is maintained by group policy.  When would the trust re-establish?  Upon the next reboot?
