Beta 2.0: Error Code 0017-80040276

Question
-
Installed the beta version worked since it came out. I started getting error messgages on boot up saying One Care was not loading. I un-installed the Beta. I tried to install the Beta again but now I get an error message that I can not download the files. The error code is 0017-80040276. I have tried to shut down and install several times. I tried installing the retail 90 day trial and it does start to download the files with no issues or errors.
This is on Vista Ultimate 32 bit.
Any ideas?

Error 0017 typically means that there's a problem downloading the files needed for installation, starting with the manifest or list. Since 1.6 is downloading and installing okay, it would seem not to be on your end, but perhaps a server or service issue. If it persists, contact support:

That would be because the CD is simply an installer that downloads the latest version of OneCare from the servers and you are answering a 2 year old thread that was started during the beta of an older version.
