why wont office xp work???????????? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Think I have an idea what the problem might be. I had a stationary computer until a couple of months ago when it broke down and had to be replaced. The computer was then destroyed. Since then I have installed office on another stationary computer and now want to install it onto my laptop. Is it possible that the copy on the old stationary computer is still registered? That would then make it look like office was intalled on two stationary computers and one laptop.

  • Hello

Did you try the Office XP solution in Method 2 in this MS KB article:  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/903275/en-us as Dan suggested in your other thread?

If not, please do. Method 2 is specificly designed to fix that type of issue.

    Thank you,
    Darin MS
