Off Topic: Windows xp help RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • When it turns on it shows the brand name, then shows a list of options saying your computer didnt shut down correctly, and once you choose any mode it shows xp loading, then says there is some missing files, then it restarts and does the exact same thing (it just loops)

Is there a way to reinstall xp without the disk?

  • There would be if you are using an OEM system Dell/HP/compaq etc... usually they only have a partition installer or desctructive installation ( mirror image of the original Windows ). But other than that well you only have to depend on the retail disk of Windows which came with your machine.
