Mapping fields not working RRS feed

    Hi,

    I have a self referential field on an entity tried mapping 6 fields from the source to the same entity on the target. Only 2 fields are getting mapped when I click on the create new button. Basically it's mapping the Contact Id and Primary Id of the Parent Record but not 4 of the lookups that I have on the Parent record. I am not sure what am I missing? Please advise.

    Did you create the field mappings on the relationship? By default when you create a relationship, at least one field map will be auto-generated. But you should be able to add additional field mappings via the "Mappings" section on the specific 1:N Relationship on the entity.

    Also, I found the field mappings only work for self-referential (i.e. Order created from an existing Order) when the new record is created from the "common" area of the "related" section on the form.

     Yes I created the mapping from 1:N relationship between an entity called Payment to it self. The contactId and PaymentId lookups on the Target are getting mapped but the 4 other lookups are not getting mapped.

    And the field mappings are visible in the relationship? That is odd.

    Does the user creating the Target record have the permissions to create data in those fields?
