Convert C language code to Objective-C code RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have written a large code in C language and I like to install it in iPhone as an App.

Since the Objective-C is a subset of the C language I wonder if C code can be made into Objective-C code with minimal modification.

I am thinking someone must have done this before

My C-code is rather large and it would be big task to rewrite it in Objective-C code from scratch

I would be grateful if someone can share the experience and give me guidance how best to tackle my task: where to look for sample codes or what reference book can be useful.

    Thank you in advance

  • Hi C.H.Chi,

    Welcome to MSDN forum.

For your requirement, I have found a similar thread, may it could help you.

    https://stackoverflow.com/questions/2316823/translating-c-to-objective-c

BTW, we recommend you could redirect to stack overflow with objective-c and c tags, and then you could get dedicated support about it.

    Thank you for understanding.

    Best Regards,

    Dylan
