First Install Remote Access worked, second install it wont

Interesting...
I installed WHSV the first time and had no problems whatsoever, even had remote access and domain set up, then when I tried to add an external usb hd, and found I couldnt (eSata), I tried to re-install WHSV with a driver load for the raid, but alas that didnt work either. The second install went fine, but now cannot get remote access up and running, everytime I try to set it up I get errors that the router is not working, that uPnP is not enabled and that port fowarding is not set up. Although I have all that set up properly, eben have the http and https ports set up correctly.
Not sure why all of a sudden I cannot get remote access to work, any ideas?

I had a similar problem: I had to reset the router and do port forwarding again. It worked.Friday, May 14, 2010 6:26 PM -
Well unfortunately that didnt work for me, I not only reset the router, but upgraded the firmware, but it still gave me the same &&&&, so I tried a factory reset and still no luck at all, I am about fed up and need to get away, thats how pissed I am, sorry.Wednesday, May 19, 2010 12:28 AM

Ok I have settled down, I hope. I know it is not my router, everything is set correctly on the router, it has something to do with the server, so I am going to re-install WHS again for the third time and see if that helps. wish me luck.Wednesday, May 19, 2010 2:44 AM

If you haven't reinstalled yet (or if it happens again), you should file a bug report on Connect.Wednesday, May 19, 2010 2:56 AMModerator -
lol... yeah it happened again...
I can connect to the server from another computer, so i can do everything else, just that remote access wont work at all, I keep getting the same errors, but the router is properly configured, I triple checked, many times, still same thing.
I will file the bug report, where to?

I was able to get into the remote access via the dydns.org account, but when I go to the server it still has the same error, cannot connect to router, I reported a bug.Wednesday, May 19, 2010 7:40 AM
