help with widnows live ID plz!!

  hello i bought windows live like 4 months ago was working great but last month it wouldn't run and i did all the steps  to try and fix it but nothing. So i just tried to reinstall this month and it worked! But i forgot my windows live id! so i can't get the windows live to work like i paid for it to work! Just need some help to see if windows can take the product id and get my email i used for windows live id.
