The only authentication is signing in with your LiveID. The two factor authentication on the blog refers to signing into Remote Desktop on the remote PC when using Live Mesh remote desktop functionality. How that works is beyond me since I have never had to deal with smart card authentication, just my login credentials. -steve~ Microsoft MVP Windows Live ~ Windows Live OneCare| Live Mesh|MS Security Essentials Forums Moderator ~
