  • Hi Ben,

Have a look at the relationship between a lead and account, lead and contact and lead and opportunity. There will be a 'mappings' link which will should show you the mappings. Additionally you can also specify new fields here for future conversions.

  • Agreed to carlo to some extent. But it is not just about the fields we see on the forms or in customization area. If you want to see the actual updates being applied, you need to trace changes inside the database. Though its not recommanded to play directly with CRM Database, but CRM perform many updates and inserts in DB on backend. If you want to see all the updates being applied, you need to find out a SAFE* way of tracing updates in database.

One way of doing this is using diffgram feature of .net......This way you will fetch whole db schema and its data in a dataset in .net before applying changes and another copy of schema and data inside a new dataset after performing the update. Then using diffgram you can finout what has actually changed.
