Shades of Deja Vu. When Google did this content thing, they did not warn me. I was doing well and paying $100-200 a month. The next month they presented me with a bill for $3,200. Luckily, my credit card was close to max and they did not collect. I looked at their specs and they claimed I had 6,250 hits. I went to my site counter and I only had 767. I contacted them and initially they said "too bad you elected to do it." Do what? I did not know what a content ad was, let alone, elect to change my site over. They changed it over. I went on line and found all kinds people totally freaked out because they owed so much money, especially the ones, whose credit cards went though. They were out the money. I threatened to expose them. It was a time when their stock was climbing like crazy. I said I would E-mail everybody that hits their site. They backed off and said, "OK you do not have to pay, see ya later." Needless to say, I am not on Google anymore. They do not want anything to do with me. I miss the traffic, Google worked for me until this happened. Moral of the story is watch out for content they can put you on AOL and worse and you will get hits but no buyers.
