Cannot use links for pictures

Question
-
I am getting an error when I try to post a question that I cannot use links or pictures until "we are able to verify your account". However when I signed up for an account I didn't get an email to verify my account. And I don't see a why that I can kick off a verification. So...I cannot use these forums to post my question about SMB because I need to post a pic of the packet captures. Please help, how do I trigger an account verification?

It isn't broken, it usually takes a day or two for admins to get around to updating.
