Client entitlement is corrupt with code 0x80096004 RRS feed

    Help,  I am trying to reinstall OneCare on my pc... At the end of the installation routine it has a problem activating using my Live ID...  OneCare continues to operate, but in an at risk status... The icon is red, there is no LiveID associated with it in the help about section.


    If I try to run the update, it comes back with an error that "Windows Live OneCare could not check for updates from this computer because your subscription has expired."  My sub doesn't expire until 2/09 and is currently running fine on my laptop...  I have created a support log and the subject line of this post is the problem, however, I cannot locate a suitable answer for this...


    I have googled this and have not come to any great conclusions about it...  I have uninstalled, used the cleanup tool, attempted to use the removemachine tool, and all have done what they are supposed to do or failed.. Does anyone have an answer, or has anyone seen this before...?
