Windows Live Sync RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have been using Mesh for years and I loved it.  I have switched over to Windows Live Sync Beta and I am trying hard to give it a chance, but I find it utterly frustrating and confusing.  It is nearly impossible to figure out what folders you are syncing and where they are syncing.  The things I miss about the Mesh are I could right-click a folder and add it to the mesh.  Then the icon changed so I could instantly see what was being sync'ed.  I really want to like Sync.  I just want it to be more intuitive.

  • There is no Windows Live Sync Beta, unless you have not yet updated to the final release version. I agree that the options available to us in Windows Live Mesh are rather simplistic compared to what exists in Live Mesh beta, which will go away come 3/31/11. Hopefully we will see some of the functionality restored in the future.
