Run SyncToy command at logoff

    Question

  • I am trying to get a SyncToy command to run when a user logsoff the client (Windows 7)

The command is created as part of logoff script in GPEDIT.MSC and creates an image of My Documents (from my PC) to my Windows Home Server

    Command:

    "C:\Program Files\SyncToy 2.1\SyncToyCmd" -R "MyDocs - WHS"

The problem is that the SyncToy command fails because the network connection is taken down as soon as the PC log's off.

    SyncToy error logs confirm this:

SYNC: 07/08/2012 12:48:29:894: *** Failed to execute folder pair MyDocs - WHS. Could not locate folder \\WHS Server\Users\Spile\

Strangely, if I open GPEDIT.MSC and log off the PC the command is executed.
