"Windows 7 build 7601 not genuine" message

Question
-
I ran Windows 7 on my Dell Inspiron 64-bit PC for five years. Totally happy. Made the mistake of downloading Windows 10 at Microsoft's invitation. Wouldn't work right. Struggled for two weeks with many calls to Microsoft and many case numbers assigned. Finally was advised that Windows 10 is not compatible with my Dell. To solve the problem and return to Windows 7, the Microsoft rep took control of my machine remotely, deleted Windows 10, then installed Windows 7 and activated it. After a couple of months my desktop background went black (failed to any longer display my photo or even one of the supplied backgrounds) and there appeared the message that my Windows 7 is not genuine, despite the fact that it was installed by Microsoft itself. I get that same message via popups and by permanent appearance in the lower right corner of my desktop every time I boot up. I ran the diagnostics and they are copied in below. Please, please, please, someone help me solve this problem and get rid of this bug that must be in Microsoft's Windows 7 itself.

The problem here appears to me to be that the Key installed is a upgrade Key, and as such will not work properly on a clean install.
YOu could check this by using Operator Activation, and speaking to an operator.
If that is the case, then you'll need to follow the guidelines here...
