MS Dynamics CRM 2011 - Add automatically records to a menu on the navigation section RRS feed

  • Dear Support Team,

    I have created two custom entity that is linked to another custom entity named Sales Expense. The relationship was stablished by creating a field displayed on the navigation page of Sales Expense. The relationship fields are as follows: Additional Budget and Expense Budget. Now i want to automate the following: When i add record on the Additional Budget Field, i want to automate the adding of record on the Expense Budget field based on the information that could be fetched on the Additional Budget field. But how do i do this in a plugin. I am using c# via visual studio. Below is the image as reference.

  • Hi,

       Create Post plug-in for the Additional Budget entity and based on the value from the current entity, create the record in Expense Budget.

        Here is the sample code for CRUD operations:

    I'm sorry to confuse you, but the field additional budget looks like this when click:

    What i need to do is when i add existing AM and PS Budget, i should be able to get the reference number then add the same reference on the Expense Budget field.

    This is how the Expense Budget Field look like:
