Hello himanshu1995,
Internet Access is not required to Activate. Use the Activate by Phone method. If you have any problems accessing the Activate by Phone wizard, try the alternate steps below.
To Activate by Phone:
a) If you have access to the Start button: Click the Start button, and type slui 4 in the search field and then press the "Enter" key. This will bring up the Activate by Phone dialog window. Follow the steps provided by the window. The phone activation process should only take about 6 minutes.
b) If you do not have access to the Start button: Reboot and login to Vista, a dialog window will come up. In that window, click the option "Access computer with reduced functionality". Once you do that, Internet Explorer or Firefox browser will open. In the address bar type c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe press enter, a new window will come up, type: slui 4 and hit enter and follow steps to Activate over the Phone.
NOTE: The important thing to this process is that you need to talk to a Live Activation Rep! When you first call, you will be interacting with an Automated Voice, either select the option to talk to a Live Rep or if there is no option, do not enter any numbers. This should force the automated voice to transfer you to a Live Rep.
Thank you,
Darin MS
Note: Computers that come with Windows pre-installed are required to include some way to reinstall Windows. Manufacturers do not usually include a restore disk anymore (save cost probably) they now usually include the restore software on a hideden partition on the computer's hard drive. The documentation that came with the computer should be able to provide more information. You may also comtact the manufacturer and request a replacment restore disk (sometimes they call it a recovery disk).- Marked as answer by Darin Smith MS Thursday, December 10, 2009 10:17 PM

Hey Darin Smith MSFT, Moderator I have tried all the ways to get this phone activation window up but there is no such animal...before you ask me to try this or that in which I have done already why not just post the phone number to save us all these problems trying to find a phone number...surely you must have access to a toll free number or you can do what you ask me to do and pull up the number yourself..it just doesn't work. A window pops up but it just says to buy a new product key online, type a different product key and then last but not least Contact Gateway to help resolve this problem..nothing about Microsoft and the Gateway is my computer but there are no phone numbers associated with the window that pops up..thanks for a phone number if you can..Saturday, December 12, 2009 8:41 PM
