  • Question

  • After the latest updates were installed, i restarted my HP Pavillion dv9500 and when i log in to windows it says that my Windows are not genuine.  But my windows are 100 % genuine. I have the laptop at about 2 years now. I bought it with vista on it. And i have the label with the product key under the laptop. Never had the same problem again .. Why now ???? I have no accsess to windows. I really need some help as my windows are genuine. The only thing that appear is a window(activation screen) with 3 options : 1. Buy a new product key, 2. Enter the product key again (doesnt work), 3. Contact HP. I can tell you what i tried so far, with no result. I booted into safe mode and i tried to perform system restore. I performed it with no result. Also i tried "Repair your computer", the system restore again but again with no result. I dont know what else i can do. Please help me.
    Thank you.

  • Ok ... i performed the above procedure. I rebooted twice. Now when i log into windows it says that i have to put in the cd-dvd of vista for re-installation.
What happens ? I have no cd-dvd of vista. As i said in the description of my problem, i bought the HP pavillion dv9500 with the vista pre-installed on it. I only know that there is a HP recovery drive on my pc.

    I am in dead-end  ! Need help immediately !
