Asked by:
Proper editing of posts on this forum?

Hi Everyone,
What is the proper way to make additions or changes on this vb.net forum? Is there a way to repost or something instead of making several edits or should one just make multiple posts when you think of new things? Just wondering because I don't think email alerts will ever show edits? Or how does that work?

Ask Microsoft - I presume you understand that they don't give a f__k what we think though?
We've been around a while here - they change this forum capriciously, on their own whim, and frankly hold no value in what the users of it think -- at all.
Edits do not show up in e-mails, no.
Please call me Frank :)

I have no idea. Although I did learn from another thread today ( Change system volume of subwoofer ) that I need to reply to the post with the question I am replying to rather than the last post in the thread like I do a lot of the time because a "threaded view" can apparently be used which somehow displays, I suppose, a treeview style display of which posts in a thread were replied to. So if I had hit reply to Franks post even though replying to your post someone using "threaded view" would have to figure out what was going on in the thread.
Dang Frank (that's a reply to Franks post). :D
Please BEWARE that I have NO EXPERIENCE and NO EXPERTISE and probably onset of DEMENTIA which may affect my answers! Also, I've been told by an expert, that when you post an image it clutters up the thread and mysteriously, over time, the link to the image will somehow become "unstable" or something to that effect. :) I can only surmise that is due to Global Warming of the threads.
