403 Forbidden on IFD CRM deployment RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

The external CRM link bought up the login screen that is authenticated using active directory and all worked fine.  Today the CRM link brings up a "403 Forbidden error. You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied."  Nothing should have changed on our CRM server. I'm not sure where to start with this, any ideas folks? Rather confused.

    Thanks.

  • Are using ADFS or just porting the CRM to outside?

    other ideas:

are you using a firewall to redirect the external calls to the CRM? check the firewall

on the CRM deployment manager properties, did you update the urls with the external urls? pays to check and see if that was done and saved.

you can also check this to find what type of 403 you have

  • Using ADFS.  Neither the internal nor external links work - nothing has changed on the firewall so this shouldn't be the issue.

It's very strange as everything was working perfectly on Thursday evening and Friday morning everything had gone wrong - without anything changing.

The 403 error is a 403.14 – Directory listing denied.
