  • It looks to me as if this machine shipped with Vista installed.

    The installed Product Key is the Default Key for Windows 7 Home Basic- and can never be legally activated.

    There should be a COA sticker on the case - for which version and edition of Windows is it valid? (Probably Vista Business!)
